Statement from East Ward City Council Candidate Kismet Loftin-Bell regarding shooting at the Johnson Municipal Services Center

Today, I am saddened by yet another act of senseless violence that has wreaked havoc on our community.

My deepest sympathies to the families, friends, and colleagues impacted by the shooting at the Johnson Municipal Services Center this morning. I offer my condolences to the families of the deceased and pray for swift recovery for the injured city employee and the injured officer. I offer my support and assistance to all affected by this tragedy.
